In Tuesday's league game, the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) basketball team walloped the visiting Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 50-23.

The Aztecs now have a 13-14 record. They play next when they travel to Hanks for a 5A Region I District 2 game on Friday, January 31. El Dorado will confront a Knights team coming off a 50-30 league win over Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 11-11.

With the loss, Parkland falls to 11-18 on the campaign. The Matadors host Americas (El Paso, TX) to confront the Trail Blazers in a 5A Region I District 2 game on Friday, January 31.
