Minnesota High School Basketball - South Ridge overwhelmed by Mesabi East
January 28, 2025: Culver, MN 55779 In Tuesday's non-league test, the Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN) basketball squad trounced the host South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN), by a final score of 73-25.
Coming up next, the Giants confront the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 30. Mesabi East will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 12-6 record after their 63-60 non-league loss to Superior (Superior, WI).
With the loss, South Ridge falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Chisholm (Chisholm, MN) to confront the Bluestreaks in a A Section 7 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Bluestreaks go into the game with a record of 14-6. Chisholm lost 48-44 in their recent league game against Cromwell (Cromwell, MN)
