Nebraska High School Basketball - Riverside nips Lutheran-Northeast
January 29, 2024: Cedar Rapids, NE 68627 Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE), 51-48 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Riverside upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to St. Edward (St. Edward, NE) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 4-10. St. Edward won 45-35 in their recent non-league bout against Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE)
Next up, the Eagles play the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears (Laurel, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lutheran-Northeast will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Bears come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 70-50 non-league loss to Wynot (Wynot, NE).
