The Greenbrier West Cavaliers basketball squad (Charmco, WV), was crushed 84-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV)

With the victory, Midland Trail advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Patriots host Summers County (Hinton, WV) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Friday, January 31. The Bobcats enter the battle with a record of 1-9. Summers County lost 66-31 in their recent league battle against James Monroe (Lindside, WV)

The Cavaliers now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pocahontas County for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30.
