The River Valley Falcons basketball squad (Yuba City, CA), was crushed 80-50 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA)

With the victory, Placer advances its record to 20-2 on the year. The Hillmen host Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA) to meet the Cougars in a Foothill Valley battle on Friday, January 31. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 7-15. Del Campo lost 57-48 in their recent league battle against Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA)

The Falcons now own a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nevada Union for a Foothill Valley battle on Friday, January 31. River Valley will meet a Miners squad coming off a 62-58 league win over Yuba City (Yuba City, CA). The Miners record now stands at 14-8.
