In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Crest Ridge Cougars basketball team scored a good 66-56 win over the Lexington Minutemen.

The Cougars (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Orrick (Orrick, MO). The Bearcats come into the I-70 contest with a 2-9 record.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Knob Noster Panthers (Knob Noster, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East contest, on Saturday, February 1. Lexington will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 61-60 non-league loss to Concordia (Concordia, MO).
