California High School Basketball - Desert Christian overwhelms St. Monica Academy

The Desert Christian Knights basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting St. Monica Academy Crusaders to 19 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now have a 14-5 record. They play next when they host Santa Clarita Christian for a Heritage game on Saturday, February 1. Desert Christian will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 28-26 league win over Vasquez (Acton, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 15-7.

With the loss, St. Monica Academy falls to 5-14 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA) to confront the Contenders in a Heritage game on Thursday, January 30. The Contenders go into the game with a record of 10-10. Faith Baptist won 38-21 in their recent league game against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA)
