The Lynwood Knights bounced the visiting Downey Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 56-28 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Knights clash with the Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA) in a Gateway outing, on Friday, January 31. Lynwood will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Gladiators come into the outing with a 15-8 record after their 59-29 league win over Mayfair (Lakewood, CA).

The Vikings (13-13) will now prepare for their outing against Paramount (Paramount, CA). The Pirates come into the Gateway outing with a 15-8 record. In their last outing, Paramount routed Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 53-47, in a non-league outing.
