California High School Basketball - North Valleys thwarts South Tahoe

January 29, 2025: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) and the host South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA), observed North Valleys's basketball team knock off South Tahoe by a score of 59-43.

The Panthers (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the 3A Northern - West challenge with a 4-9 record. In their last challenge, Truckee dropped by Sparks (Sparks, NV), 28-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Wooster Colts (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - West challenge, on Friday, January 31. South Tahoe will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 45-36 league loss to Hug (Reno, NV).
