The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Palm Harbor University Hurricanes (Palm Harbor, FL) and the visiting St. Petersburg Green Devils (St. Petersburg, FL), observed Palm Harbor University's basketball team knock off St. Petersburg by a score of 60-49.

The Hurricanes (12-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Berkeley Prep (Tampa, FL). The Buccaneers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Berkeley Prep prevailed over Classical Prep (Spring Hill, FL), 57-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Green Devils encounter the Countryside Cougars (Clearwater, FL) in a 5A District 10 challenge, on Thursday, January 30. St. Petersburg will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 69-25 league win over Osceola (Seminole, FL).
