In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host San Tan Charter Roadrunners basketball squad scored a decisive 101-52 victory over the Northland Prep Academy Spartans.

With the victory, San Tan Charter advances its record to 1-0 on the year.

The Spartans now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camp Verde for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. Northland Prep Academy will meet a Cowboys squad coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ). The Cowboys record now stands at 0-1.
