New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup holds off Hope Christian
January 3, 2023: Gallup, NM 87301 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) and the visiting Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM), saw Gallup's basketball squad hold off Hope Christian by a tally of 63-57.
With the victory, Gallup improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Bengals travel to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Atrisco Heritage Academy won 57-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland (Albuquerque, NM)
Next up, the Huskies confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Hope Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
