In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Biggersville Lions basketball team scored a good 67-57 triumph over the Ingomar Falcons.

The Lions (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS). The Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Holly Springs topped Delta Academy (Marks, MS), 70-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons confront the South Pontotoc Cougars (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Ingomar will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 64-45 non-league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY).
