The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) and the host Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ), observed Red Mountain's basketball team edge Deer Valley by a score of 55-50.

The Mountain Lions (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Hamilton was tipped by Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL), 59-50, in a non-league challenge.
