The Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs basketball squad (Scottsdale, AZ), was nudged 57-56 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Kamehameha Maui Warriors (Pukalani, HI)

With the victory, Kamehameha Maui advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Maui (Kahului, HI) to meet the Sabers in a Maui I battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Sabers enter the battle with a record of 2-7. Maui lost 72-47 in their recent league battle against Baldwin (Wailuku, HI)

The Mustangs now own a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Phoenix Christian for a 2A Central battle on Friday, January 10. Rancho Solano Prep will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 95-37 non-league loss to San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ). The Cougars record now stands at 4-7.
