The A.L. Brown Wonders basketball squad (Kannapolis, NC), was crushed 46-21 in Friday's league battle with the host Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC)

With the victory, Hickory Ridge advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Ragin' Bulls host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to meet the Vikings in a 4A Greater Metro battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 3-10. South Iredell lost 59-56 in their recent non-league battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)

The Wonders now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cox Mill for a 4A Greater Metro battle on Tuesday, January 7. A.L. Brown will meet a Chargers squad coming off a 55-44 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 4-9.
