With the victory, Argonaut advances its record to 7-7 on the year. The Mustangs host El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to meet the Cougars in a Sierra Valley Conference battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 8-6. El Dorado won 42-25 in their recent non-league battle against Sonora (Sonora, CA)
