The Lake Norman Charter Knights defeated the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 66-55 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Knights clash with the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record.

The Vikings (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the 3A South Piedmont outing with a 0-10 record. In their last outing, West Rowan was defeated by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 66-18, in a league outing.
