The Covenant Christian Cougars basketball team scored 36 points and limited the visiting Northland Christian Cougars to 29 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they host Calvary Baptist for a non-league game on Monday, January 6. Covenant Christian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Founders Christian (Spring, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Northland Christian falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host First Baptist Christian (Pasadena, TX) to confront the Warriors in a TAPPS 4A District 6 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-0.
