California High School Basketball - Southwest EC bested by Pacific Ridge
January 3, 2025: El Centro, CA 92243 Pacific Ridge Firebirds (Carlsbad, CA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA), 57-40 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pacific Ridge advances its record to 2-9 on the year. The Firebirds host High Tech SD (San Diego, CA) to face the Storm in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. The Storm enter the match with a record of 6-7. High Tech SD won 71-43 in their recent non-league match against Verrado (Buckeye, AZ)
The Eagles now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calexico for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Southwest EC will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 46-37 non-league loss to La Jolla (La Jolla, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-10.
