January 30, 2024: Dulles, VA 20166 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Fairfax Christian Cardinals (Dulles, VA) and the visiting Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA), saw Fairfax Christian's basketball squad knock off Evergreen Christian by a count of 72-60.
With the victory, Fairfax Christian upgrades its record to 25-5 on the campaign. The Cardinals host New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD) to play the in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 31. The come into the challenge with a record of 15-16. New Hope Academy lost 66-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Goretti (Hagerstown, MD)
Next up, the Eagles play the Life Christian Academy Eagles (Chester, VA) in a VISAA Division III challenge, on Friday, February 2. Evergreen Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 19-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 60-54 league loss to Cristo Rey (Richmond, VA).
