The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors basketball team (Indian Trail, NC), was overwhelmed 60-25 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Gaston Christian Eagles (Gastonia, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 16-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gaston Day for a NCISAA Metrolina battle on Friday, February 2. Gaston Christian will confront a Spartans team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Concord Academy (Concord, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 16-10.

The Warriors (12-15) will now prepare for their battle against Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Metrolina battle with a 4-20 record. In their last battle, Hickory Grove Christian was overwhelmed by SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC), 79-47, in a league battle.
