The Cheraw Braves basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Central Eagles to 33 in the Braves non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Braves now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chesterfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Cheraw will battle a Golden Rams team coming off a 50-17 league loss to York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Golden Rams record now stands at 1-6.

The Eagles (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Volunteers come into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
