Indiana High School Basketball - New Castle sneaks past Anderson

The New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) basketball edged the host Anderson Indians (Anderson, IN), 47-45 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 6-16 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. New Castle will play a Tigers team coming off a 57-46 league win over New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Anderson drops to 2-21 on the year. The Indians travel to Muncie Central (Muncie, IN) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 4. The Bearcats enter the outing with a record of 8-14. Muncie Central won 58-36 in their recent non-league outing against Muncie Burris (Muncie, IN)
