In Thursday's league test, the Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Glendale Nitros (Glendale, CA), by a score of 68-36.

Next, the Bears encounter the Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA) in a Pacific test, on Saturday, February 1. Burroughs will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 6-15 record after their 61-37 league loss to Arcadia (Arcadia, CA).

The Nitros (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Hoover (Glendale, CA). The Tornados come into the Pacific test with a 8-11 record.
