North Carolina High School Basketball - Union Academy overwhelms Albemarle

The Union Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs to 51 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now have a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gray Stone Day for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Albemarle falls to 1-17 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to confront the Tigers in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 12-8. Mount Pleasant won 58-40 in their recent league game against South Stanly (Norwood, NC)
