Minnesota High School Basketball - Cedar Mountain overwhelms Sleepy Eye
January 31, 2025: Sleepy Eye, MN 56085 The Cedar Mountain Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and limited the host Sleepy Eye Indians to 52 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now have a 16-2 record. They play next when they host St. James for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Cedar Mountain will confront a Saints team coming off a 87-83 league win over Windom (Windom, MN). The Saints record now stands at 11-9.
With the loss, Sleepy Eye falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Lester Prairie (Lester Prairie, MN) to confront the Bulldogs in a A Section 2 game on Monday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 7-11. Lester Prairie lost 97-59 in their recent league game against Springfield (Springfield, MN)
