In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles basketball team scored a big 67-31 triumph over the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights.

The Golden Eagles (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against Noblesville (Noblesville, IN). The Millers go into the non-league contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Noblesville smashed Franklin Central (Indianapolis, IN), 51-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Twin Lakes Indians (Monticello, IN) in a Hoosier - West contest, on Thursday, February 6.
