The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN) and the host Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN), observed Hammond Morton's basketball team knock off Hobart by a score of 59-48.

The Governors (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Lawrence North was knocked off by New Palestine (New Palestine, IN), 63-56, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Brickies encounter the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Hobart will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
