The Monterey Wildcats basketball squad (Monterey, TN), was crushed 48-25 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN)

With the victory, Clay County advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Bulldogs host Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN) to meet the Tigers in a 1A District 7 battle on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 3-9.
