Oregon High School Basketball - Western Christian triumphant over Colton
January 31, 2025: Salem, OR 97304 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Western Christian Pioneers (Salem, OR) and the visiting Colton Vikings (Colton, OR), observed Western Christian's basketball team overwhelm Colton by a margin of 49-23.
The Pioneers (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Chemawa Indian (Salem, OR). The Braves come into the 2A Tri-River challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Chemawa Indian trounced Delphian (Sheridan, OR), 40-26, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Santiam Wolverines (Mill City, OR) in a 2A Tri-River challenge, on Monday, February 3. Colton will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 54-23 league win over Delphian (Sheridan, OR).
