The DeKalb Barons basketball squad (Waterloo, IN), was nudged 35-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN)

With the victory, Huntington North advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Vikings travel to Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN) to meet the Archers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Archers enter the battle with a record of 4-16.

The Barons now own a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garrett for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 5. DeKalb will meet a Railroaders squad coming off a 64-45 league win over Lakeland (LaGrange, IN). The Railroaders record now stands at 5-18.
