The Erie Tigers (Erie, CO) basketball were winner over the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 48-39 in Friday's league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Frederick for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Erie will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 73-42 league win over Silver Creek (Longmont, CO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Lightning host Niwot (Niwot, CO) to play the Cougars in a 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Niwot lost 63-37 in their recent league bout against Holy Family (Broomfield, CO)
