Game Story

California High School Basketball - Freedom overwhelms Liberty

January 31, 2025: Brentwood, CA 94513

The Freedom Falcons basketball team scored 72 points and limited the host Liberty Lions to 51 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 17-6 record. They play next when they host Pittsburg for a Bay Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. Freedom will confront a Pirates team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 9-12.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Dublin (Dublin, CA) to confront the Gaels in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Gaels go into the game with a record of 16-4. Dublin won 55-24 in their recent non-league game against Bethel (Vallejo, CA)
