The Southwood Knights basketball squad (Wabash, IN), was nudged 48-44 in Friday's league battle with the host Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN)

With the victory, Northwestern advances its record to 8-13 on the year. The Tigers travel to Peru (Peru, IN) to meet the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 12-10. Peru lost 51-47 in their recent league battle against Northfield (Wabash, IN)

The Knights now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northfield for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 5. Southwood will meet a Norsemen squad coming off a 57-47 non-league win over Churubusco (Churubusco, IN). The Norsemen record now stands at 14-8.
