The Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY) basketball felled the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 77-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Valkyries (11-2) will now prepare for their test against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Corbin was beaten by Southwestern (Somerset, KY), 68-57, in a non-league test.

The Green Waves now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Meade County will encounter a Jaguars squad coming off a 70-36 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 10-2.
