Indiana High School Basketball - Lakeland overwhelms Centreville
January 4, 2025: LaGrange, IN 46761 The Lakeland Lakers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Centreville Bulldogs to 28 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lakers now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Noble for a Northeast Corner game on Friday, January 10. Lakeland will confront a Chargers team coming off a 58-20 league win over Eastside (Butler, IN). The Chargers record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Centreville falls to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Lawrence (Lawrence, MI) to confront the Tigers in a Southwest 10 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-6. Lawrence lost 73-28 in their recent league game against White Pigeon (White Pigeon, MI)
