The Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) basketball toppled the host Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats (Cibecue, AZ), 37-28 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Honey Badgers now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chino Valley for a 3A West bout on Tuesday, January 7. Highland Prep will play a Cougars team coming off a 51-27 non-league loss to San Pasqual Valley (Winterhaven, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Dishchii'bikoh falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ) to play the Cardinals in a 1A North bout on Tuesday, January 7.
