In Saturday's league contest, the host Eastern Hancock Royals basketball team scored a big 73-39 win over the Monroe Central Golden Bears.

The Royals (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Monroe Central (Parker City, IN). The Golden Bears come into the Mid-Eastern contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Monroe Central smashed Blackford (Hartford City, IN), 55-29, in a non-league contest.
