North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 71-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, North Valleys advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Panthers host South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA) to face the Vikings in a 3A Northern - West match on Wednesday, January 8. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 4-8.

The Grizzlies now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Douglas for a 4A Northern match on Monday, January 6. Galena will face a Tigers squad coming off a 52-25 non-league win over Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-7.
