The Troup County Tigers basketball squad (LaGrange, GA), was crushed 70-41 in Saturday's league test with the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA)

Next, the Patriots clash with the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a AAA Region 2 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Sandy Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 5-9 record after their 61-20 league loss to Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA).
