In Friday's non-league outing, the American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) basketball squad edged the visiting Ben Lomond Scots (Ogden, UT), by a margin of 68-67.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Merit Preparatory Academy (Springville, UT). The Knights go into the 2A Region 16 outing with a 3-8 record. In their last outing, Merit Preparatory Academy was tipped by Union (Roosevelt, UT), 75-30, in a non-league outing.
