Florida High School Basketball - Horizon nips Celebration

Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Celebration Storm (Celebration, FL), 66-64 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Horizon upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to West Orange (Winter Garden, FL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 2-11. West Orange lost 56-38 in their recent non-league game against La Habra (La Habra, CA)

With the defeat, Celebration moves to 3-9 on the year. The Storm travel to Poinciana (Kissimmee, FL) to face the Eagles in a 7A District 6 game on Tuesday, January 9. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 8-4. Poinciana won 63-37 in their recent non-league game against Liberty (Kissimmee, FL)
