North Carolina High School Basketball - North Davidson overwhelms Montgomery Central
January 5, 2024: Lexington, NC 27295 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) and the visiting Montgomery Central Timberwolves (Troy, NC), saw North Davidson's basketball squad wallop Montgomery Central by a tally of 86-27.
With the victory, North Davidson improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Black Knights travel to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC) to confront the Grizzlies in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 6-8. Oak Grove lost 72-64 in their recent league challenge against Asheboro (Asheboro, NC)
Next up, the Timberwolves confront the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a 3A Mid-Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Montgomery Central will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-11 record after their 76-45 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC).
