The Carvers Bay Bears topped the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks basketball team by a final score of 49-33 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) in a A Region 5 game, on Tuesday, January 9. Carvers Bay will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 11-3 record after their 56-38 non-league win over Lamar (Lamar, SC).
