Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Great Falls Red Devils (Great Falls, SC), 68-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairfield Central upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Griffins host Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC) to clash with the War Eagles in a AA Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 10. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Gray Collegiate Academy lost 39-32 in their recent non-league bout against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles (Hartsville, SC) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Great Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
