The Winter Springs Bears (Winter Springs, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), 50-48 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Hagerty (Oviedo, FL). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 10-2 record. In their last test, Hagerty got by Bayside (Palm Bay, FL), 75-39, in a non-league test.
