The Eastern Hancock Royals routed the visiting Union County Patriots basketball team by a final score of 66-31 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Royals face the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 9. Eastern Hancock will attempt to move on its 16-1 season record. The Trojans enter the game with a 2-14 record after their 39-35 non-league loss to Wapahani (Selma, IN).

With the defeat, Union County moves to 6-11 on the year. The Patriots travel to Randolph Southern (Lynn, IN) to face the Rebels in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 10.
