California High School Basketball - Verdugo Hills tops West Ranch

Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA), 52-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Verdugo Hills upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Dons travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a East Valley bout on Monday, January 8. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 9-9. Arleta won 68-26 in their recent non-league bout against Santee (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) in a Foothill bout, on Tuesday, January 9. West Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 53-25 league loss to Valencia (Valencia, CA).
