The Downey Christian Patriots tipped the visiting Lakeway Christian Academy Lions basketball team by a final score of 61-56 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) in a non-league test, on Sunday, January 8. Downey Christian will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record.
